"But You Prefer the Worldly Life"

Many people have no goal but to gain everything there is to gain in this world, like money, fame and attention. However, a deep look into these things may show that in reality, they will never fulfill a person completely. A person can have all the money and attention and fame in the world - but there will always be something missing.

The reality is simple: true happiness is with God.  We should strive to always remember Allah and always remember that death could be near - and that we will not be able to make a heaven in this life, no matter how hard we try. Heaven is with Allah (ﷻ), the One Who created death and life.

بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا

وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ

(Qur'an 87:16-17, Sahih International Translation)

“But you prefer the worldly life, while the Hereafter is better and more enduring”
