One of the Most Important Realities of Life

This post is intended as a wake up call. Many people are unaware of this reality. Sometimes it will surface and fade away again, as the dunya life takes our attention. But beyond the bright lights of this life, there is a very important reality.

The reality is that right now you are actively writing your story. The actions and choices you are making right now, including the choice to read this sentence, are part of the actions that form the story of your life. It's time to take a pause and reflect.

The body you are using right now is your tool. The eyes that you are using to read this post are tools. Your ears are tools. Your hands are tools. Your legs are tools. All of these tools were given to you by Allah ﷻ. You will be held responsible for the way you used them. Every single time you used them to disobey Allah ﷻ, that is your responsibility. Every time you used them to do good, that was your wise choice.

Once your life ends, you will likely realize the value of every single second you spent in this life. It was a choice. It was an opportunity. But once your dead, all opportunities are over. Thus it is very important that we keep ourselves aware and striving to live our life correctly, in a way that is pleasing to our Creator, before its too late.

وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

"And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah . Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly."

(Qur'an 2:281)
